Sylvester ‘Silly’ String is the most sought-after children’s entertainer in London. Classically trained, charming to his fingertips, with a waiting list as long as your arm. Every child in the lucrative West London kids’ parties market wants Silly String and his Silly Songs.

Until SPITTA arrives.

MC SPITTA is a rap and grime-obsessed maverick from East London who’s shaken up the scene practically overnight. These two sworn rivals find themselves forced to work together at the biggest kids’ party gig in the city – and they’ll do anything to be number one.

Written by and starring Kiell Smith-Bynoe (star of the BBC’s Ghosts and Taskmaster) and multi-instrumentalist comedian Ed MacArthur (Ted Lasso), String V SPITTA is a musical comedy best described as a late-night kids’ party for adults – complete with singalongs, party games, magic tricks and rap battles.

Think Amadeus meets Flight of the Conchords, with musical numbers directed by Dizzee Rascal.

Following multiple sold-out runs at London’s Soho Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe and a BBC television pilot, String V SPITTA makes its Malta debut at Theatre Next Door for one weekend only on 9 and 10 May 2026.
